Command input:
scc_logi_elevation_new
Creates an element in a LogiKal job in the drawing. The job must first be imported from LogiKal. For this, use the command Import LogiKal project.
After calling the command the Dialog box Projects is displayed for the job assignment. Select here the LogiKal job and close the dialog box with OK.
You are then requested to specify the size and the shape within the drawing or in LogiKal. The following procedure is used:
Input request
Option Area
Specify point in the area or [Corner points/Object selection/LogiKal dimensional entry/Copy/Import/Axial pitch?]:
Specify a point in a surface to define the shape and size of the element.
You can specify the corner points of the element with the Option Corner points.
With the Option Object selection you can specify the element by object selection.
With the Option LogiKal dimensional entry you can specify the element dimensions with the aid of the LogiKal input mask.
You can import an element from an existing project with the Option Copy.
You can import an element from an existing project with the Option Axial pitch.
With the option ? you call the help.
Option Corner points
Specify corner point or [Area/Object selection/LogiKal dimensional entry/Import/?]
Use the mouse or enter coordinates to specify the corner point of the element.
With the Option Area you can define the element by specifying a point in an area.
With the Option Object selection you can specify the element by object selection.
With the option Undo you can again specify the last corner point.
Specify corner point or [Area/Object selection/Undo/LogiKal dimensional entry/Import/Close?] <Close>:
Specify the next corner point of the element.
Select the option Close or press the Enter key once you have specified the last corner point
Option Object selection
Select objects:
Select a closed outline to define the shape and size of the element.
Option LogiKal dimensional entry
Directly starts the Dialog box LogiKal position, where you can define the element position data.
When you terminate this dialog box, you can define the element in the appropriate masks with the LogiKal assistant. You will find further information on this in the LogiKal documentation.
Then follows:
Specify insertion point
Define the insertion point of the element.
Option Copy
Directly starts the Dialog box LogiKal position, where you can define the element position data.
When you terminate this dialog box, you can define the element in the appropriate masks with the LogiKal assistant. You will find further information on this in the LogiKal documentation.
Then follows:
Specify insertion point
Define the insertion point of the element.
Option Axial pitch
Select objects:
Select the lines or polylines to specify the element (frame dimension and division).
The selected lines must touch at their end points, so that they can be used for the determination of the dimensions and division.
Once the element dimensions have been defined, the Dialog box LogiKal position appears, where you can define further element properties.

Dialog box section Preview
On the left side of the dialog box the preview for the element area is located. You will find the arrow keys for selecting the active element side beneath this preview. The arrow keys are only active if you have previously switched in the option Variable inset.
The preview is only displayed when you determine the dimensions in the drawing. If you copy an existing element or specify the element dimensions in the LogiKal interface, the preview is omitted.
->
Changes to the next side in the anticlockwise direction.
<-
Changes to the next side in the clockwise direction.
The active side of the element is displayed in red in the preview.

Dialog box section Insert
The dialog box section Insert is only present when you specify the dimensions in the LogiKal interface.
Production drawing
Generates the LogiKal element as a production drawing.
CAD Position
Generates the LogiKal element as a CAD position.
Interior view
Creates the internal view of the element.
Exterior view
Creates the external view of the element.
Dialog box section Outline
Interior view
Creates the internal view of the element.
Exterior view
Creates the external view of the element.
Inset
Defines the inset of the element. You can specify the inset directly or point in the drawing by clicking the button.
The inset acts on each side and enlarges the element correspondingly. With elements in raw shell openings (for example, aperture-type windows) you can specify a negative inset.
Variable inset
Has the effect that the inset on each element side is different. If you activate the tick box, you can specify the inset separately for each element side. Use the arrow keys below the preview for changing the element sides.
Dialog box section Project
Displays the job data of the LogiKal project.
Dialog box section Position
Tag
Defines the element tag. Apart from the tag, you can specify the quantity.
Lot
Defines the lot for the position. Lots must be defined in LogiKal.
Status
Defines the status for the position.
Position number
Defines the element position number. The position number for the elements is incremented, corresponding to the specified quantity.
Designation
Defines the element designation. You can save the label in various languages. To do this, choose the required language from the list.
[...]
Opens the Dialog box Designation, where you can conveniently edit the designations for various languages. You will find further information in the Chapter Designation.
Prototype
Selects an existing LogiKal element as a model.
If you have already created a similar element in the drawing, you can select it to skip the definition of the profile series. For element selection the dialog box is closed and the following input request appears:
